Temporary Security Coordinator

In the role of temporary security coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, supporting, and following up on the municipality's preparedness work in predetermined areas within the framework of the Act (2006:544) on municipalities' and regions' measures before and during extraordinary events in peacetime and heightened preparedness.

Examples of tasks included in the position:

• Coordinate the municipality's work with crisis preparedness and civil defense, for example, for the work with the war organization and continuity management
• Support the municipality's operations with knowledge about security and preparedness issues
• Coordinate the municipality's work with crisis support to the public
• Collaborate with authorities, municipalities, and other actors
• Train and exercise the municipality's crisis management organization
• Develop routines for the crisis management organization
• Report situational pictures and conducted activities to authorities

As a security coordinator in Hylte municipality, you will be placed at the Rescue Service, which is part of the municipal management office, and your immediate manager will be the rescue chief.

We are looking for someone with post-secondary or university education, or who has otherwise acquired knowledge focused on crisis preparedness, civil defense, and security protection, or other qualifications that the employer considers equivalent.

Work experience from a municipality or other organization in the above areas is meritorious.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and outgoing, and you work in a structured and systematic manner. You have good problem-solving skills, are analytical, and learn new things easily. You have a good ability to write formal texts in Swedish.

To succeed in the role, you need to be communicative and have a good ability to collaborate with others as well as work independently. You are pedagogical and have an interest in educating and sharing your knowledge in the field of security.

To be considered for the position of security coordinator, you must have Swedish citizenship.
